We don't assemble our showers from pre-made kits. Each one starts as raw copper pipe, which we cut to length, shape and weld ourselves, joint by joint.
It's a slower process than working with off-the-shelf parts, but it means every finished piece carries the small, individual marks of being made by hand rather than stamped out on a production line. That hands-on approach is what separates these designs from a typical outdoor shower, built for function rather than as something worth looking at. Copper holds up well against the conditions an outdoor fitting has to deal with day after day, from constant sun exposure to wind, rain and everything in between. Instead of rusting or corroding, it develops a natural patina as it ages, so the shower's appearance changes over time without the material actually breaking down.
We choose copper and brass specifically for this reason, since a shower that looks great but can't handle being outdoors isn't much use to anyone. Getting the materials right matters as much as getting the design right, especially for something that's going to stay outside in all weather for years.
While our nine standard styles cover plenty of ground, from simple, everyday designs to a genuine standalone feature, they're not the only option. If you've got something specific in mind, we can design and build a shower around it, whether that means a particular size, a custom fitting or a layout suited to an awkward or unusual space.
Some customers want a variation on an existing style, others want to start completely from scratch, and either approach works. A custom build still gets the same hand-welded copper construction as every other shower we make, so nothing is compromised to make it unique.
